<p>Civil War remembrance would not be complete with out <a href="http://www.campnbr.com" title="general stonewall jackson">general stonewall jackson</a>. Born Thomas Jonathan Jackson on January 21, 1824, in Clarksburg, Virginia (now in West Virginia), general stonewall jackson and was educated at the U.S. Military Academy.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.campnbr.com" title="general stonewall jackson">general stonewall jackson</a> acquired his nickname and his reputation at the Battle of Bull Run, from the firmness with which his brigade resisted the Northern attack. Jackson prevented the threatened encirclement of the Confederate forces by the troops of General Joseph Hooker. On May 2, 1863, while leading his forces at Chancellorsville, Jackson was accidentally shot and fatally wounded by his own men. </p>
